DOVIA is Directors of Volunteers in Agencies. Its purpose is to give credence to volunteer program management as a profession.  Accordingly, DOVIA envisions a high quality of volunteer management professionals and volunteerism at all levels and in all organizations throughout the community.

Even in today’s challenging economy, you can take your fundraising to the next level!  This training provides Three Foundations of Fundraising Project Management…Product, Promotion and Profit, which will help you raise money you need for your programs.  In addition, International speaker Mary McCormack will share best practice ideas from all over the United States to get you excited about your fundraising events.

The speaker, Mary McCormack, has shown thousands of people and organizations how to successfully apply creative solutions to challenges involving leadership, fundraising, and best business practices.  Specializing in business and healthcare management for over 29 years, she is an international speaker, an author and a consultant.  In 2007, she spoke on volunteerism at an international peace congress in Toronto.  The recipient of numerous awards, Mary received the national Award for Excellence in 2007 from the Association for Healthcare Volunteer Resource Professionals. 

The training will be held at the University of Phoenix from 11:45 AM to 1:30 PM. The room number will be posted by the elevators at UOP on the day of the event.  Please bring a bag lunch…drinks, chips and dessert will be provided. 

HandsOn is providing this wonderful opportunity free of charge to all of our agency member’s staff and $10 for staff of other nonprofits. Our only request is that you click RSVP, download, complete and return the form by June 6, 2009 and that you bring with you 2 copies describing your most successful fundraisers to share with the group.
